Maria Kirilenko

The fourth-seed Russian in the far court beat World number 164 Mariya Koryttseva of Ukraine in straight sets 6-0, 6-2 to win her 3rd WTA title. The World Number 35 in fact faced no difficulty in outplaying her erratic Ukrainian opponent and took just over an hour to win the final. Interestingly this is the first instance in the three-year history of the tournament where the title has gone to a player other than the third seed.
